Hi guys! This is the one and only Captain Curacao writing again. Today I want to talk about me. No that’s a joke. Today I want to share my experiences about the wonderful West Coast Trip I did last Saturday.
So guess in what direction we went sailing? Right, to the beautiful Wild Wild West!
We departed around 9 pm with the Catamaran from Blue Bay Beach. All the other guests were really nice and I immediately became friends.
The crew gave us a very warm and entertaining welcome. After that, I was super excited and ready to go!
There was a blue C, a blue sky, a blue ocean but a very blue detail I missed. Blue Curacao! Fair enough, they only serve alcohol after lunch. I knew I was sailing with smart guys to the West Coast.
Mushroom forest and the Blue Room
The first stop was the famous Blue Room Cave and Mushroom Forest. As Captain Curacao, I am not afraid of the dark! Let’s put on those fins and masks and let’s go.
We did an awesome dive at the beautiful Mushroom Forest. It got his name because of the giant coral formations that look like big mushrooms. It was amazing. At the end of the dive, our professional dive guide took us into the Blue Room Cave, a real hidden gem. This was the place where we’ve met the other guests who weren’t diving. They were snorkeling around the place and together we’ve found a lot of fish. Maybe this was the third blue I was looking for: a blue room cave!
West-Coast BBQ-lunch
After the dive and snorkel stop, we had a delicious BBQ-lunch on board. The crew made chicken skewers, hamburgers, hotdogs, and two different types of salads. A perfect choice to eat after the dive instead of before, I ate so much I think I wouldn’t sink.
After this amazing lunch, we’ve had a stop at the beautiful coast of Coral Estate. I’ve been diving at Coral Divers, so it was so much fun that I could wave to them from the boat. Interested in diving at Coral Estate as well? Check out the website of Coral Divers. We had a lot of fun during this stop. We were swimming, laughing and having fun with all the guests.
West-Coast's hidden place
For the last stop, we went to a hidden place. A place where we could find a lot of turtles. We’ve all seen Playa Piskado, but this spot was even more amazing. We swam with these amazing sea creatures and there were no tourists except for us. I’m glad that this trip brought me to a place I’ve never seen or heard about before. I think this stop made the trip more than amazing. We wanted to stay a lot longer, but it was time to head home.
Around 5 pm we came back to Blue Bay Beach. If you would like to book this beautiful trip, check out my website. As being a popular Captain Curacao I had so many things to do, so for me, it was time to go! Thank you beautiful people and hilarious crew for this awesome day! See you guys soon!
Sunny Greetings,
Captain Curacao
